WE LOVE COMING TO WORK EVERY DAY AND SEEING THE PURE JOY THAT DOGS BRING TO OUR LIVES. THE TEAM AT WOOKIE DOGS WELCOMES YOU WITH OPEN PAWS
Wookie Dogs began in 2018 from a deep passion for working with and understanding dogs. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of learning from incredible trainers, vets, groomers and other industry professionals, all with one goal in mind, to create supportive services that help dogs and their people live their best lives.
Today, we’re proud to call a beautiful 6-acre property in the heart of the Swan Valley home. Here, we offer a one-of-a-kind daycare for social dogs, focused on building confidence and sound social skills, as well as our Sniffari range of private hire and chauffeured visits. Alongside our services, we also offer a growing range of high-quality gear designed to help dogs and their humans experience the world safely and joyfully.
From little things, big things grow! And as a family-run business, we truly believe it’s the little things that have helped us become who we are today.
Our journey began with Tidus, a special rescue boy who inspired it all. Tidus came to us fearful and unsure of the world, but with patience, understanding, and a lot of training (us and him!), he blossomed into a confident explorer learning to make friends and live his best life. Though we sadly said goodbye to him in December 2023, his spirit lives on through everything we do, reminding us every day why Wookie Dogs exists: to help more dogs discover the same joy, freedom, and love he found.
What began as solo dog walks soon grew into pack hikes across Perth’s beautiful trails. Along the way, we connected with countless dedicated dog lovers, expanding our knowledge and our mission.
Then, in 2020, when the world slowed down, so did we, but only for a moment. With walks no longer possible, we set out to find a space where dogs could safely play, learn, and explore. After months of searching, we discovered a run-down patch of land tucked away in the Swan Valley. It didn’t look like much at first, but we saw its potential. With the help of our family, a shoestring budget, and plenty of hard work, that little patch became the Wookie Dogs Adventure Playground, the space our community knows and loves today.
Wookie Dogs continues to grow, with more projects on the go, helping dogs near and far, from Perth’s backyard adventures to families across the world enjoying our gear. No matter how big we get, our mission stays the same: to give every dog the freedom to explore, learn, and live their best life. 🧡

Beth started Wookie Dogs in 2018 after years of volunteering, studying, and talking about dogs so much that her friends stopped inviting her to dinner.
She’s been obsessed with learning everything about dog behaviour ever since and still finds new ways to make Wookie Dogs even more fun, safe, and tail-waggy.
A lifelong animal lover (yes, even the cats get cuddles), Beth treats every pup like her own, with patience, laughter, and a few too many muddy paw prints on her clothes.

Tidus is our Wookie Dogs founding Dog. Tidus was adopted from the RSPCA in 2016, found abandoned on the side of the road and taken to the pound when no one claimed him.
He had some behavioural issues but together with Beth his new owner, they embarked on a journey to grow together learning how to help Tidus be the best he could be and live life to the fullest which in turn led to the creation of Wookie Dogs.
His part to play is immortalized in our Wookie Dogs Logo.

Tuesday is a 5-year-old Belgian Shepherd who taught Beth that even though she had years of knowledge and experience under her belt there is always more to learn! Tuesday was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease at an early age and was muzzle-trained to help prevent him from eating things that could cause a flare-up and to keep everyone safe when he is not feeling well.
Tuesday is at the forefront of the muzzle education advocating for the use of muzzles in our society and helping to battle the negative image muzzles often have.

We took Indy out to Wookie Dogs yesterday for a bit of a special treat just for her. She’s nearly 14 now, and I’m trying to make the most of every chance I get to take her somewhere new, let her sniff around, explore and just enjoy being Indy. I know these are the days I’m going to wish I could have back one day. Indy is a rescue and has never been particularly social with other dogs, so finding somewhere completely private like this is perfect for her. There’s no worrying about another dog coming around the corner or her feeling overwhelmed — she can just wander around and do everything at her own pace. She absolutely loved it. And if the photos don’t show how relaxed she was, Indy is literally petrified of water 😂 She normally wants absolutely nothing to do with it, but somehow she got closer and closer to the water yesterday than I ever expected her to. I think that says everything about how comfortable she felt there. Seeing her potter around, sniffing everything and happily doing her own thing meant more to me than I can really explain. Thank you for creating such a beautiful, safe space for dogs like Indy. Places like this make it possible for dogs who aren't necessarily social butterflies to still get out, explore and have their own adventures safely. We’ll definitely be back. ❤️+6Posted on Google![]()

I took my boy Roger to Wookie dogs private hire and OH MY GOSH he loved it so much!! Fantastic space filled with everything a doggo will enjoy! My boy loved all the different areas to play in, he even directed me to which ones he wanted to go to next. He especially loved the part with the small flowing river, he's not much of a swimmer so the shallow depth was perfect for him to wade through and play with all the mud!Posted on Google![]()

What an awesome place to go with our dogs - one anxious and the other reactive! They loved it and had so much fun playing in the water. They were very happy and muddy by the end, and so were we. Easy to book, got an email and SMS reminder, was easy to find the place and fantastic to enjoy with no hassles or worrying about seeing other dogs. Highly recommend.Posted on Google![]()

This is an excellent place for your dog to run around and get muddy! We made a day of it and went to Yahava before our booking - which is only 10 mins down the road. I wish they'd do playdates again!+0Posted on Google![]()
